I dunno, I get the feeling some of the people who see my page and my work think I must be some psychopath with a hardon for Ash Ketchum. Well, I'm hardly a psychopath. I follow my obsessions closely as they're all I have to keep me in right my mind. Everything in my life brings me nothing but stress, and I'd like nothing more than to just runaway, as Avril Lavigne's song rightly suggests. To add to that I have no talent in anything. Though I draw I am not at all an artist. I draw Ash because he's a sybmbol of happiness and better times in my life. I've been watching him since we were the same age, though I've grown while Ash is still ten, which makes me think people see me as a pedo, lol... >_> So yes, Ash has been with me most of my life. I loved pokemon when I was younger (I mean LOVED) and I always saw Ash as such a great person that I just fell in love with him. Not to mention he's so freakin adorable.

Ash is what I'm most familiar with right now, and the animation in Pokemon is so simple that I found it the best way to express my pent-up creativity. I think of these things all the time and I wonder "Hmm, how would Ash look crossed over with 300 or Resident Evil or something or other?" so I put my imagination onto paper. I love drawing, no matter how much I suck at it it's such a good and fun way to express that creativity. It's also much easier than, say, writing. I could draw anything and someone out there will find it good. Writing requires so much more attention and detail and intelligence. I could write something, but if people don't like the way it's written then they won't continue reading it so all that *ahem* work was for nothing.

With drawings, all you do is make a picture. That picture will tell a whole story much better than my words ever could. People can just look at it and see the story, no matter how bad the drawing is, and know what the person who made it is trying to tell without having to spend the time going through a long, boring, badly written work. That's what I'm trying to do with my drawings. One picture of Ash stealing a child and riding away in his Pikachu hot-air balloon is much funnier than anything else I could have done with that concept.

Well, speaking of long, boring, badly written stuff, I seem to have trailed on with whatever it is I'm saying. Damn ADD. I don't even know what I've written. Sooooooooo........ I'm not crazy. I know exactly what I'm doing. Okay, maybe just a little crazy. I wrote this more for myself, anyway, but if you're reading this and understand any of it then cool! Thank you for taking interest and staying long enough to get this far.

To sum it up (looks like you read all that for nothing), I'm obsessed with Ash Ketchum, and I will continue drawing him in insane scenarios because I love him and it's what I like to do for myself. Just to let everyone know.
